BANKER CHARGED
PRESENTING FIREARM ASSAULT ALLEGED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Ernest Alexander Winchester, bank manager, appeared in the Lawrence court yesterday to face charges of presenting a loaded»firearm at Mervyn James Barr, of assault, and of carrying a pistol without a-license. The accused was remanded until Friday morning, bail being allowed in his own recognisance of £SO and a surety of £SO.
