MAGNIFICENTLY-TIMED BRITISH INITIATIVE (Reed. Nov. 24, 2,30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 23. The military correspondent of the New York Herald-Tribune, Major Fielding, says: “The magnificentlytimed British offensive in Libya has a good chance to relieve the entire Middle East. It opens nirther offensive possibilities in the Mediterranean against Sicily, Sardinia and even Italy itself.” Major Fielding added that there was a good prospect Of the spectacle of a German Panzer corps surrendering in the open field being afforded the world.
