REBUFF TO NAZIS
TURKISH PRESS VIEW FREEDOM IN BALKANS (British Oflieial Wireless.) Reed. noon. RUGBY, Nov. 20. The Istanbul newspaper Tan, rebuffing the German peace offensive, states that Turkey would only consent to act as mediator if the Balkans were free. "No peace can be established upon the ‘oasis of Europe as it is to-day,” added the Turkish paper.
