DIRECTORS’ REPORT (Herald Correspondent.) The annual report and balance sheet of the Nuhaka Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, to he presented to the fortieth annual meeting in the Unity Hall, Nuhaka, next Thursday, Btate that the average payout for the year 1939-40 was 10.71 d. This year the advance pay-out was 15.49 d and there is an estimated surplus of .72d which, if realised, will bring the season’s pay-out to 16.21 d, slightly lower than last year. Suppliers during the current season total 41, an increase of 10 over last year, and the factory weight of cheese is shown as 307,19311). —a considerable increase on last year’s figures. The average grade of cheese exported shows a slight drop on last year’s grade. The export output in crates totalled 1330 crates, compared with 1111 last year. The directors again recommend that no dividend be paid this year.
