AMENDING AWARDS

LABOUR REGULATIONS POWERS OF MINISTER .. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An amendment to the labour legislation emergency regulations, 1940, gazetted last night, brings these regulations completely into line with section 32 E of the Emergency Regulations Act, 1939, thus enabling the Minister of Labour to modify, where desired, the provisions of any Act, award, etc., without first having, as at present, to suspend them completely and prescribe other conditions in lieu thereof.
