A social held in the Kahutia Bowling Club’s pavilion last evening in honour of the visiting Port Ahuriri ladies’ bowling team was also the occasion of a presentation to Mr. Harry Wootton on the eve of his departure to. reside in Rotorua. Mr. G. McKessar, president of the Kahutia Bowling Club, in presenting Mr. Wootton with a suitcase, made eulogistic comment on Mr. Wootton’s capabilities as a bowler. Mr. Wootton suitably replied.
