COW FOR TRIPLETS
BOOKMAKER’S OFFER RESPONSE TO APPEAL (Reed. Nov. 20, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 20. A special plea for a cqw to provide milk for triplets born to a suburban mother, made in a Sydney evening paper, brought a ready response from a well-known city bookmaker, Mr. A. J. Matthews, who telephoned to the newspaper saying: “Anyone who brings triplets into the world is worth helping. I will send this good woman the best cow that money can buy. A livestock agent will deliver the cow before the triplets leave the hospital.”
