ARMING U.S. SHIPS
VESSELS FOR BRITAIN (Reed. Nov. 20, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 18. The Secretary of tKe Navy, Colonel F. Knox, announced that American merchantmen serving the British Isles and northern Europe will be armed first under 'the revised neutrality law. Second priority will be given to ships going to the Red Sea, and third priority to ships to the south Atlantic.
