HAIR CAUGHT IN MACHINE
Severe scalp injuries were suffered by Mrs. Avis Le Vaillant, aged 22, when her hair was caught in a milking machine. Mrs. Le Vaillant was assisting in the milking on her husband’s farm at Tauraroa when the accident occurred, and she was later taken to the Whangarei Hospital. Her condition was serious as her scalp and one ear were torn off.
