FRENCH OBSERVANCE TRIBUTE TO HOSTAGES SERVICES ARRANGED (Reed. Nov. 1, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 30. The Free French forces in Britain and overseas are to-morrow observing silence from 4 p.m. to 4.5 p.m. while Free French in Britain are on Sunday commemorating the execution of hostages. i The Dean of St. Paul's Cathedral has suggested that churches throughout Britain should join in the commemoration. Requiem Mass for the murdered French hostages is being held on Monday in the West End church of Saint James. A commemoration service for all who died as victims of Germans is also being held in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
