WOMAN’S £l2 LOSS (Pei - Press Association.) " AUCKLAND, this day. Coming suddenly from a lane running from Princes street last night, a man seized a leather handbag containing about £l2 in notes being carried by a middle-aged woman. The woman was walking in Princes street when the robbery occurred, the suddenness of the attack catching her unprepared. Her screams attracted attention, but her assailant, although pursued, managed to escape.
