WANGANUI “RAIN DAY”
31ST SUCCESSIVE FRIDAY (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. To-day was again “rain day” in Wanganui, light showers just before and just after breakfast making it the thirty-first successive Friday on which rain has fallen in Wanganui, although on some of these days the rain has been only a few spots and on occasions purely local, not even being recorded at the official meteorological station in the centre of the city.
