BOMBING OF MOSCOW
SINGLE NAZI PLANE DAMAGE INSIGNIFICANT (Reed. Aug. 20, 9 a.m.) MOSCOW, Aug. 19. The Tass agency says that several German planes attempted to raid Moscow during the night. Only one broke through the city’s defences, dropping several incendiary and high explosive bombs. The damage was insignificant. The Swiss radio reports that Soviet planes bombed the Hungarian town of Komarom, near the Slovakian Danube.
