NEW NAZI WARSHIP
PICTURE OF SALVO FIRE OF 15 IN. GUNS (Reed. Aug. 19, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. IS. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press says that a photograph published in the Voelkischer Beobachter depicting a warship firing a salvo from two forward turrets, each mounting two heavy guns, suggests that Germany has a new battleship mounting 15in. guns. The caption reads: “New German battleship speaks impressive language with her 38 centimetre guns.”
