HITLER DETERIORATION HURT BY SET-BACK RETURN FROM FRONT i *wi (Reed. Aug. 19, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 18. Quoting a Berne report the Moscow radio to-day stated that Hitler had been forced to leave the eastern front after the first German set-back because his mental condition deteriorated continually. The Fuehrer is now at Berchtesgaden, where the doctors ordered that he must not be told any bad news. It is believed that Professor Sauerberuch, Hitler’s physician, who is the leading specialist in nervous diseases, had conversations with Swiss psychologists concerning Hitler’s health.
