Pleading guilty to a charge of making a false statement under the Marriage Act by stating that his name was “Mickell Miller,” and that he was born in Sydney, Samuel Henry Coley, aged 32, a labourer and seaman, was to-day committed by the magistrate, Mr. F. H. Levien, to the Supreme Court for sentence. The police prosecutor said that, when interviewed, Coley admitted that the particulars in the certificate were incorrect. He said that, Coley was released from prison on March 5 and met a young woman in a hotel on March 8 and married her on March 11.
