MILLIONS IN BRITAIN < (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 10 a.m. RUGBY. Aug. 17. Since the opening of the war savings campaign £341,318,712 has been raised bv the sale of savings certificates and £342,830.725 by the sale of defence b'-'d.-:. During the same period the balance due to depositors in the Post Office Savings bank' and trustees savings banks has increased bv £258,148.000. giving a total of £924,287, 437.
