MR. MAXTON’S PRAISE (British Oflicial Wireless.) Reed. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 15. Mr. James Maxton, the well-known Independent Labour member of Parliament, speaking in the country today said the meeting of Mr. Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt was the first time since the outbreak of the war that there had been any attempt to bring the voice of reason into the struggle.
