TOMAHAWK FIGHTERS
SUPPLY FOR CHIANG BIG CARGOES DAILY (Reed. Aug. 15, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON. Aug. 13. American Tomahawk fighters are pouring into China to strengthen Marshal Chiang Kai-Shek’s air force, says the Singapore correspondent of the Daily Express. Big cargoes of planes are daily arriving in Burma, where they are assembled and flown' to Chungking. These planes give the Chinese, for the first time, some appreciable measure of air power.
