CANTEENS FOR TROOPS
THREE UNITS READY DISPATCH TO EGYPT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Three of the five gift mobile canteens for the New Zealand forces in the Middle East, which have been under construction at Petone, are ready, and Mr. G. A. Hayden, secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board, stated that the other two will be finished early next week. Two have been given by the staffs of Woohvorths (New Zealand). Limited, and one each by a branch jf the Masonic order and native school children and the New Zealand Shop Assistants’ Federation, representing shop assistants throughout the Dominion.
