HITLER’S GANG PEACE PRELIMINARY STERN MOSCOW VIEW (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Aug. 14, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 13. The spokesman ol' the Soviet Information Bureau, M. H. Lozovsky, said in Moscow to-day that it was estimated that 300,000 of Hitler’s “praetorian guard” shared all tne crimes of Hitler and his gang. “This does not mean that any other Germans are not guilty of active cooperation in Hitler's worst outrages, but the extermination of the men who are the backbone of the Gestapo system and Hitlerite fanaticism must be a preliminary to reasonable talks with the German people,” M. Lozovsky added. He said that when a German bomber crashed near Moscow three members of the crew, with characteristic German opportunism, pointed out the fourth member of the crew as a Black Guard, implying that they deserved less harsh treatment.
