MEETING AT TE AROHA Stakes to the value of £3OOO will be distributed at the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s spring meeting, which is to be held at Te Aroha on September 20 and 22. On the first day the chief event will be the Makaraka Handicap of £4OO, H miles, and on the second the President’s Handicap of £3OO, one mile. Nominations close on Friday, August 29.
