Those present at last night’s meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council were: The Mayor, Mr. N. H. Bull, Messrs. F. Tolerton, J. H. Hall, G. J. Jeune, R. Morse, H. E. Maude, G. Bradley Smith, J. J. Macdonald, H. H. Do Costa, and Dr. A. L. Singer. An offer of ,£(> for the purchase of four trees on his boundary with the Park Domain, submitted to a meeting of the Makaraka Domain Board last night by Mr. E. Wells, was accepted. It was decided to plant further trees in vacant spaces. The question of fencing on the Domain was referred .to the Gisborne Borough Council’s reserves committee. N.Z.R.A.F.
