WEYGAND NOT PRESENT RETURN TO ALGIERS (Reed. Aug. 12, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 11. Speculation regarding the meeting of the French Cabinet this afternoon became deflated when the Vichy Dele-gate-General in North Africa, General Weygand, returned to Algiers without even attending the session, reports the Vichy correspondent of the Associated Prfess of Great Britain.
The Lyons radio said the Ministers discussed the question of apprenticeship, after which the Minister of Agriculture reported on the harvest prospects. The remainder of the meeting was devoted to current matters.
