ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES
The death has occurred in the Grey Hospital, Greymouth, of Mr. Charles Jones, aged 35, the railway employee who was severely injured in the car accident at South Beach when the former All Black footballer, Mr. Jack Steele, was killed. Mr. Jones, whose right foot v/as amputated after the accident, underwent a second operation, but succumbed shortly after his return to the hospital ward. He was a former Buffer Rugby representative. His parents reside in Westport.
