A Mountain of Bottles
Bottle-collccting to win Die war lias become almost a fairy story. The mountain of battles of ail shapes and sizes which lias almost reached the top of the gasometer in the Wellington Gas Company’s yards is an amazing sight. It is certainly the largest collection of bottles seen at one time in Wellington. Together with the collection of bottles piled up in the yard of St.-James Theatre in Courtenay Place, the final realisation should make-a handsome contribution to the patriotic funds.
