SIX EXTRA TANKERS

AUSTRALIAN CHARTER CONVEYANCE OF PETROL (Reed. Aug. 12, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Aug. I’2. The Australian Minister of Supply. Senator McLeay, announced that the Government had secured six extra tankers which would bring 21,500,000 million gallons of petrol to Australia this year. In addition. 80,000 drums of petrol would be shipped to Australia in freighters. He was unable to say whether the arrangement would be permanent.
