HUGE BILL FOR WAR
AUSTRALIAN OUTLAY (Reed. Aug. 12, 10 a.m.) CANBERRA, Aug. 12. Treasury returns issued yesterday reveal that Australia began the new financial year by spending on the war at the rate of £200,000,000 a year, exclusive of war expenditure outside Australia.
