ATTACKS ON BROADCASTS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.40 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 10. Tfie English novelist, Mr. P. G. Wodehouse, broadcasting on the German radio, answered attacks on him.
“My talks are designed simply as a way of acknowledging hundreds of sympathetic letters from Americans. The broadcasts have caused violent attacks against me in England, but I am still unable to see there was anything in the broadcasts which would not be printed in any English newspaper.”
