She. v, Motuhora, and Miss Davidson, Otokc were the referees. One Oloko bus ketbull player was included in the Rakauroa team. Football.—Oloko 22, Motu nil; Matawai G. Motuhora (I: Oloko 22, Motuhora nil; Motu 3, Matawai nil: Motu 6, Motuhora 3; Matawai nil. Oloko 2!). Motu and Matawai 3, Motuhora and Oloko 22. A delicious afternoon tea was served by the members of the Parents' League to all present, including Hie children.
On Saturday night a dance in aic: of funds for the Home Guard was held in the Matawai Public Hall and proved a great success financially. A large number of Guardsmen and others attended. Corporal A. Me Tavish was the M.C., and Miss Um, Reed presided at the piano, and also played the piano-accordion very successfully. Mrs. A. Bulst. assisted by Mrs. R. C, Bcaufoy and other helpers, attended to the supper, which was provided by the ladies of the district
