Overhanging Hedges
The effect of the black-out In increasing the hazards of over-hanging hedges was referred to by Mr. H. H. Do Costa at the meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council last evening. He suggested that the council take steps to have such hedges cut back. The Mayor. Mr. N. H. Bull, suggested that Mr. Do Costa should report cases of offending hedges to the borough engineer for attention.
