18-YEAR-OLD CLASS
EMPLOYERS' OBLIGATION
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The director of national service, Mr. J. S. Hunter, said to-day that youths who were now 18 and consequently members of the First Division of the General Reserve are not sending in .heir enrolment forms as promptly as he could wish. These youths became members of the first division on the issue of a proclamation directing their enrolment on May 21, said Mr. Hunter, and those who had not done so must register at once. Employers, he said, should note the fact that the age limits of the first division are now 18 to 45 years inclusive, and should satisfy themselves any 18-year-old employees of theirs are duly enrolled.
