The total'sum received to date .for the £1.000,000 patriotic appeal is £832,100. according to the honorary Dominion organiser of the appeal, Mr. J. Abel, in a statement issued last night. In the last 10 days the .fund had increased by approximately £27.000, Mr. Abel said, the main sources being ~s follows: Southland. £10,000; Otago, £8000; Auckland. £-1000; and waste products, £SOOO.
