HITLER’S INTENTIONS
ATTITUDE TO SOVIET NAZIS DOUBT INTEGRITY (Reed. June 3, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. .. The Daily Telegraph says that the suicide of Admiral Boehm, com-mander-in-chief of the German naval forces in Norway, occurred at the Grand Hotel in Oslo about a fortnight ago, shortly after the flight of Herr Hess to Scotland. The date is important because it shows that the recent visit of Herr Himmler.. Chief of the Gestapo, was the result and not the cause of his suicide. . ~ . Admiral Boehm’s suicide is regarded as a sign that the doubts regarding the integrity of Herr Hitlers intentions, especially about t Russia, which inspired Herr Hess’ flight, are shared in many high quarters. These doubts, combined in many cases with admiration for the British defence, may lead to further defections.
