Waihi Queen Carnival
A total of £9BO has been raised in Waihi by a queen carnival, which has been conducted over the last four weeks in an effort to raise the district’s quota of £585 in the all purposes appeal. The carnival was concluded with a dance and crowning ceremony, the successfull queen being Mrs. C. Christiansen (Navy).
