WOMAN CAME BACK
LONDON, April 10. After Mrs. Bessie Angell, of Southampton, lost her husband in one air raid-and the hotel which they ran in another raid, she went to America. While there she listened to a broadcast by, Mr. Winston Churchill. "That decided me to come home,” Mrs. Angell said last night. “It seemed cowardly to run away. I wrote to Mr. Churchill to thank him for his words of encouragement.” And in the Osborne Hotel, Shirley, Southamptdn, which she now runs, Mrs. Angell showed customers last night a letter of sympathy and encouragement from Mr. Churchill. “After that,” she said, “nothing will drive me fro,m Southampton.”
