On the African fronts increased patrol activity and enemy air activity is reported from Tobruk, where four German aircraft were destroyed. In Abyssinia Patriot forces captured forts east of Debarech. which town was already in their hands. Villo, which is near Lechenti, has also been occupied.
In the south-west the leading troops arc now 47 miles north of Giabssirc. The general position in this theatre may best be described by saying that clearing-up operations are proceeding satisfactorily.
