LESS SUNDAY WORK
ARMS FACTORIES (Reed, May 31, 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 30. The Minister of National Service, Mr. Ernest Bevin, has announced that Sunday work in arms factories will be cut down as much as possible. Mr. Bevin agreed with the report of the select committee that generally the seven-day week did not increase production, but the peculiarities of the l aircraft industry made a hard and fast rule impossible.
