Johnson, Tokomaru Bay: Mr. and Mx - s. W. K. Anderson, Pirapaua. In the absence of the chairman, Mr. A. T. Carroll, Mr. H. Bayly presided at a meeting of the Wairoa Council of Primary Production on Thursday afternoon. Mr. W. G. Brownlie was appointed secretary of the council, in succession to Mr. D. H. Withers, who had resigned. The council placed on record its appreciation of Mr, Withers’ work. —Special.
