PATUTAHI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) At a meeting of the Patutahi subzone committee on Wednesday, all arrangements were made for the quota of 1G parcels' to be packed by June 7. Arrangements also were discussed regarding the running of the patriotic shop in Gisborne from June !) to 14. Mr. McGaveston has offered !o carry goods free of charge for the shop during the week. A meeting of the Patutahi Social Club was held on Thursday night to make arrangements for the entertainment of soldiers on leave. Tuesday night was decided on. Privates Phil Atkins, Stan. Worsnop, Reg. Cooper, T. Tupara and T. Keelan are home on leave.
