URGED TO CONTINUE
PRODUCTION COUNCILS MAINTAINING SUPPLIES (Special to thn Herald.) WAIROA, this day. The following statement by the chairman, Mr. A. T. Carroll, and the secretary, Mr. W. G. Brownlie, was made at a meeting of the Wairoa Council of Primary Production, when a request was received from the Director of Primary Production urging the various councils to continue their efforts: “At a meeting of the Wairoa Primary Production Council a resolution was passed unanimously in favour of a continuation of the work of the council, as it is l'elt that the organisation can do more good at present and in the future than in the past. “The council is composed not only of farmers, but all bodies interested in farm production and farm labour. By their co-operative effort some good must be achieved. It is hoped that the members in the outlying districts will maintain interest and attend as many meetings as possible.”
