The parents of the late Sergeant Pilot Norman Ingram, Wellington, recently received two communications about their son in the one day. Sergeant Pilot Ingram, who was a nephew of Mr. A. Ingram, Gisborne, was posted missing on air operations some time ago, and his parents received subsequently an official notice of. ; his death while serving with the Royal Air Force. Or. the same day, they also received a letter written byjthelr son, and enclosing a keepsake in the form of the Distinguished Conduct Medal, which had been awarded to him for Initiative and daring in air operations.
