TRADE DISCUSSIONS JAPAN AND EAST INDIES TOKIO PRESS CHARGE DUTCH antagonism: (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. May 30, 11.50 a.m.) TOKIO, May. 29. The Nichinichi Shimbun said that trade negotiations between Japan and the Dutch East Indies had entered a most crucial stage due to the failure of the Eas t Indies Government to reply to Japan’s final notification. The notification was brought about by Dutch officials resuming an anti-Japanese attitude in the belief that the international situation is developing. in favour of Britain and Arqerica and refusing to supply the goods she has already contracted for.
