WOMEN’S CLUB MATCHES DRAW FOR THIS WEEK (Herald Correspondent.) This week A and B Grade players of the Wairoa Golf Club will be engaged in playing the Coronation Medal match and the Aotearoa Cup and for C Grade players a medal round for points for Mrs. Glengarry's trophy is on the programme. The draw is as fol lows:— Wednesday Players.—Miss P. O’Donnell and Mrs. G. O. K. Sainsbury; Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. McCrea; Miss N. Nolan and Mrs. McKay; Mrs. Summerfield and Mrs. Glengarry; Mrs. Crichton and Miss Harvey; Mrs. Mowat and Miss J. Nolan; Mrs. Harker and Mrs. S. Sainsbury; Miss Joblin and Mrs. Stewart; Mrs. McKinnon and Mrs. Hill; Mrs. McArdle and Mrs. Ryman; Mrs. Duley and Mrs. Petchell; Mrs. Debden-Wilkin and Miss Signal!; Miss Mallon and Miss B. Last week’s competition, a seniorjunior Canadian foursome, attracted a full muster of Wednesday players, but the unfavourable weather conditions on. Saturday were responsible for a number of non-starters. Mrs. McKay and Miss Mallon, Wednesday players, tied with Mrs. Shaw and Miss Ellison, Saturday players, for first place.

The Hill Trophy weekly competition, which proved so interesting last season, found Mrs. Glengarry, last season’s champion, defending her title against her first challenger this season. Mrs. Goldstone, the game finishing all square.

Mesdames McCrea and Summerfield won the Smith Ribbons- by default from Mesdames C. Sainsbury and Ryan.

Miss T.. Barclay won the Teague Button by default from Miss M. Foley.

The tea hostesses this week are Mrs. Crichton and Mrs. Shaw.
