The results of the principal events at the Queensland Turf Club’s meeting yesterday are: Brisbane Cup, of £3000: 2 miles. — Lady Buzzard, 7.4 (Percival), 1; Tragopan, 8.11 (Sinclair), 2; Abspear, 8.3 (Briscoe), 3. Seven started. Lady Buzzard gave nothing else a chance. After turning for home she quickly spread-eagled the field and won by eight lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 3.25. Sires Produce Stakes, of £1000; 7 fur. —Gartilla, 8.10 (Carmont), 1; Felt Yet. 8.10 (Briscoe), 2; Triad, 8.7 (McFnrlane), 3. Nine started. Threequarters of a length. Time, 1.2 G. Gartilla, who is by Madagascar from Pantilla, was purchased as a yearling for 80gns. He was a rank outsider in the race.
