FATAL COLLAPSE

DRUIDS’ LODGE OFFICER PROMINENT BOWLER (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. The sudden death occurred in a private hospital yesterday of Mr. John Laughton, aged 09, of Wellington, the Dominion secretary of the Druids Lodge, a prominent bowler and a former New Zealand rinks champion. While attending the Marlborough Easter bowling tournament, Mr. Laughton became ill and entered hospital, where he has been ever since. He had practically recovered. He was convalescent and then suffered a fatal collapse.
