May Be Removed
Copper spirettes surmounting the ruined St. Paul’s Church in Napier may shortly be removed owing to their dangerous condition. Some months ago one of the spires toppled over and now rests on another one with apparently little to prevent its falling. The church ruins are extensively inspected by visitors to the town as it is mne of the very few remaining landmarks of the 1931 upheaval.
