FLYING CASUALTIES
TWO PRESUMED DEAD ONF. PRISONER OF WAR (Per. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following casualties were announced last night: Flying-Officer Eric Neil Baker, previously reported missing, on air operations, now reported prisoner of war. His mother is Mrs. C. S. Baker, of Khandallah, Wellington. The death of the following officers is now presumed: Pilot-Officer Edgar Elliot Morton. On May 20, 1940, he was reported missing, believed killed. His mother is Mrs. L. E. Duncan, of Takapuna, Auckland. Pilot-Officer Albert Edgar Wickham. On May 23, 1940, he was reported missing, believed killed. He was accepted for a short service commission in 1938 and commericed training at Taieri with the Otago Aero Club. He left New Zealand in June, 1939, to take up a commission in the Royal Air Force. His father is Mr. R. E. Wickham, of Armagh street, Christchurch.
