'VTOTICE is hereby given tjiat Mr. E, Angus Cameron has been appointed Registrar of Dogs for the County of Cook for the year 1941. Pursuant to Section 8 of the DogRegistration Act, 190 S, notice is also given that the fees for the registration of dogs for the County of Cook for the year 1941 are now payable to the Registrar of Dogs at the Office of the County, Childers Road, Gisborne. IMJBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, convened for that purpose and held on the 25th day of February, 1941. and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at a Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, to be held on TUESDAY, March 25. 1941. in the CounclliCliambers, Read’* Quay. Gisborne, at. 7.30 p.m.. viz.: "That tin' Gisborne Borough Council doth hereby, by Special Order make the following By-law to lx known as ‘The Gisborne Borough Abattoir and Sale of Meat By-law. 1941.’ ” The purport of the By-law is to regulate the slaughtering of stock, sale of meat, anil jirovitling for foes to lie paid in respect thereof. A copy of the said Gisborne Borough By-law is deposited at tin Town Clerk’s Otlice. Read’s Quay Gisborne, and is available for inspection by the public during ordinary office hours.
