FEBRUARY REVENUE CUSTOMS COLLECTIONS BEER & SALES TAX DROP A substantial rise in customs revenue in Gisborne in February more than offset the heavy drop in beer excise and sales tax collections, the total revenue collected through the Customs Department for the month being about £llOO more than that for February. 1940.
